January 20, 2022 TO: All PESONet Participants RE: AVAILABILITY OF PESONet MBS AND DDA3 ACCOUNTS 1. The Payments and Settlements Department of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, in their PhilPaSS Advisory No. BPU-2022-005, issued on 19 January 2022 has confirmed that the DDA3 accounts of PESONet participants will be activated on 21 January 2022. 2. In view of this Advisory, PESONet participants are encouraged to fund their DDA3 accounts on 21 January 2022 in preparation for the first settlement of the PESONet MBS on 24 January 2022 at 10:00am. Funding should be sufficient to cover all outgoing PESONet transactions to ensure that transactions will not be cancelled due to lack of funds. 3. To allow participants to perform any Production Verification Tests (viz, "penny test") as desired, PCHC shall enable Treasurer and Treasurer Authorizer users to login to PESONet via https://treasury-pesonetmbs.pchc.com.ph on 21 January 2022. 4. The PESONet Frant-End at https://pesonetmbs.pchc.com.ph will also be open for any participants that may need to perform additional activities prior to 22 January 2022. 5. January 14, 2022 T O : All PESONet Participants R E : GO-LIVE FOR THE PESONET MULTIPLE BATCH SETTLEMENT – JANUARY 22, 2022 1. We are pleased to announce that the PESONet Multiple Batch Settlement (PESONet MBS) will Go-Live on January 22, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. 2. Participants shall send all their PESONet transactions intended for settlement on January 21, 2022 under the current system. No regular PESONet transactions shall be sent to the current PESONet system after the 4:00 p.m. cut-off on January 21, 2022. Any regular PESONet transactions sent to the current PESONet system after the 4:00 p.m. cut-off on January 21, 2022 will be rejected and/or deleted. 3. All regular transactions intended for the next settlement date on January 24, 2022 may be sent to the PESONet MBS system starting 8:00 AM of January 22, 2022. 4. For status update/s and applicable return transactions relating to January 21, 2022 PESONet transactions, participants shall use the current PESONet system (https://pesonet.pchc.com.ph) and (https://api- pesonet.pchc.com.ph), and must observe the following: 4.1. RFIs should provide status after the 4:00pm cut-off on January 21, 2022 but no later than 5:00 a.m. on January 22, 2022. 4.2. Any PESONet return transactions arising from such status update will be settled against participants’ DDA balances at 4:00 p.m. on January 24, 2022. 4.3. Inward files and API batches including such return transactions may be retrieved from the current PESONet system after the 4:00 p.m. cut-off on January 24, 2022 until January 31, 2022. 4.4. Participants shall provide status update for all return transactions received on January 24, 2022 on the current PESONet system. All access credentials (i.e. usernames and passwords, API keys/secrets, SSL Client Certificates) in the current PESONet production environment will be migrated to the PESONet MBS platform. 8. Bank Admins are requested to define the Treasurers and Treasury Authorizer users in the PESONet MBS production as these users do not exist under the current PESONet production environment. 9. The PESONet MBS platform in Production will be accessible from January 17, 2022 – January 20, 2022 to allow bank admins to define the Treasurer and Treasury Authorizers for their respective banks and to ensure that all users will be able to access the PESONet MBS on the live date. 9.1. We are pleased to announce the participation of Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) in the PCHC Payment Gateway (PayGate) as an Issuing Bank effective October 4, 2021. 2. PSBank customers by then can pay any participating merchants and government agencies such as those that are listed in LinkBiz of Land Bank of the Philippines (an Acquiring Bank) which is one of the government’s depository banks. 3. Further to the instruction of PPMI, we are enabling the change in name of BPI Direct BanKo in the PESONet system as follows: “ BanKo, A Subsidiary of BPI” 2. The preferred name was based on the representation/request of BanKo in order to minimize if not eliminate rejects (returns) coming from BPI accounts.
