As Check payments through CICS are essentially based on trust amongst the Clearing Participants, it is essential for each participant to build necessary layers of control to mitigate attempts to defraud the banks’ clearing system. 4. March 10, 2021 TO : All PDDTS Participating Banks/Institutions RE : AVAILABILITY OF TRANSACTION POSTING TIME IN THE PDDTS FRONT-END APPLICATION We are pleased to inform the relevant information/data to support our Regulator requirement for banks to provide Intraday Liquidity Reports in compliance with BSP Circular 1064 is available in the PDDTS Front=end Application. In a meeting requested by the concerned unit of the BSP, we were informed that banks should be able to create/submit the required report and was asked if banks can extract some of the required data from the said PDDTS program/application. Critical in generating the Intraday Liquidity Report accordingly, is the time that a specific PDDTS transaction was posted as the Intraday Liquidity Report is intended to express a bank's liquidity position at specific intervals throughout a banking day. We expressed that PDDTS participants may extract those information/data through the SOA function of the PDDTS Front-End Application. In this connection, we would like to again re-introduce if not refresh participants in the PDDTS RTGS/PvP, System particularly banks' designated Makers/Authorizers that they may access the SOA function through the following means: a. Click on Account Activity on the PDDTS Front-End left navigation menu b. Click on SOA 6. The field Post Time in the SOA conveys the time that a transaction was posted in PDDTS (See Annex A) 7. We hope that the foregoing information will be helpful to banks in their reporting requirements. 8. For your information and guidance.
