July 13, 2023 T O : All PAS6 Participating Banks R E : TECH FORUM ON THE INTEGRATION OF THE PCHC PAYGATE WITH PAS6 TO SUPPORT SELF-SERVICE PAYMENTS FROM IMPORTERS 1. It has been over 7 months since we upgraded the PAS application to Version 6 and at this juncture, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the AABs (Authorized Agent Banks) of the Bureau of Customs for their valuable support and continuous active participation in the successful implementation of the Payment Abstract Secure, Version 6 (PAS6). 2. As we continue our journey towards more improvements to PAS6 with an end in view of enabling Importers to initiate and confirm payments for customs duties 24/7, PAS6 is now ready to introduce a key enhancement that would ultimately provide greater convenience and flexibility. 3. This key enhancement is made possible through the seamless integration of the PCHC PayGate with the PAS6 platform, ensuring a secure and efficient payment experience. 4. The PCHC PayGate, launched in 2019, is a dedicated platform designed to facilitate the acceptance of eGov and other merchant payments, ensuring reliable and seamless transactions. As of July 2023, PCHC PayGate already facilitates payments for over 500 merchants and government agencies. 5. In line with Executive Order 170 and the collaborative efforts of the Bureau of Treasury, Bureau of Customs, and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, there is a shared interest in simplifying the payment process for importers, allowing them to make payments for their customs duties 24/7. 6. We therefore cordially invite all AABs to integrate with the PCHC PayGate, enabling registered importers to conveniently make payments 24/7 through PAS6’s self-service options. 7. To assist AABs in responding with this new development, PCHC will be hosting an online Tech Forum on 21 July 2023 at 10:00 AM. We are pleased to announce that the Sandbox environment for the PESONet 2.0 Backward Compatibility Testing is now available. 2. Participants may consume the APIs exposed by the PESONet 2.0 Sandbox environment through the URL https://pesonet20-sandbox.pchcdev.com. 3. The PESONet 2.0 Sandbox is aimed at testing backward compatibility between the existing PESONet Web Service API with the PESONet 2.0 REST API. 4. In order to confirm backward compatibility, participants are requested to connect their existing PESONet Web Service API applications to the PESONet 2.0 Sandbox. The same PESONet Web Service API credentials used in the UAT environment are valid for use in the PESONet 2.0 Sandbox. 5. With the recent migration of all PCHC system applications in the AWS Cloud, please be informed that the On- Premise Data Centre of PCHC at the BSP complex shall soon be decommissioned and shutdown permanently. 2. All the existing IT equipment such as servers, storage disks and network peripherals inside it have already reached its End-Of-Life status so that all the equipment’s parts availability and the high costs of maintenance started to become a concern. 3. In this connection, all member banks that are still using /accessing the old CICS PACSWEB Portal (URL: https://pacsweb.pchc.com.ph/ApertaAiDPS/Launchpad/Login.aspx) for the online retrieval of their previously cleared check images and data information will no longer be able to do so due to the permanent termination of the application’s server host. 4. Hence, member banks’ online access to the old CICS PACSWEB portal will only be until July 15, 2023. 5.
