R E : UPDATED CONTINGENCY PROCEDURES FOR BANKS
1. We publish the updated Contingency Procedures (see Annex A) which banks and PCHC will observe in case any of the following contingency scenarios/conditions exists:
1.1. Check Image Clearing System (CICS)
1.1.1. Scenario 1: Inability to use the CICS Front-end System (FES) and there
is no connectivity to the Head Office (H.O.) PBM
1.1.2. Scenario 2: Inability to transmit ICL via PBM located at the H.O.
1.1.3. Scenario 3: Inability to use FES but connectivity to PBM is working
1.1.4. Scenario 4: Inability of PCHC to operate CICS at the Main Site
1.2. Philippine EFT System and Operations Network (PESONet)
1.2.1. Scenario 1: Participant is unable to access PESONet due to front-end or
1.2.2. Scenario 2: Participants are unable to access PESONet due to backend
or general connectivity issues/concern/s
1.3. Philippine Domestic Dollar Transaction System (PDDTS)
1.3.1. Scenario 1: Banks are unable to access PDDTS due to front-end or
1.3.2. Scenario 2: Banks are unable to access PDDTS due to backend or
general connectivity concern/s
1.4. Project Abstract Secure 5 (PAS5)
1.4.1. Scenario 1: Banks are unable to access PAS5 System due to front-end
or connectivity concern/s
1.4.2. Scenario 2: Banks are unable to access PAS5 System due to backend or
general connectivity concern/s.
