MEMO TO : All CICS AND PAS5 participating banks/Institutions

SUBJECT : DATA CENTER POWER SHUTDOWN ON JUN 25, 2022

1. Please be advised that there will be a power shutdown from 6:00AM of June 25, 2022 (Saturday) until 6:00AM of

June 26, 2022 (Sunday) at the PCHC-Manila Data Center to give way for the scheduled electrical maintenance

activities of the data center’s main power supply.

2. Relative to this, both the backend hosts of CICS and the PAS5 applications will not be accessible during the said

period.

3. Meanwhile, banks that are open on weekends may still continue to process their outward check clearing

transactions. The generated outward ICL files will just be accumulated in the bank’s PBM server and will

automatically be sent to PCHC once the CICS backend host is back online.

4. PCHC shall issue SMS and email blast once the maintenance activities are done and both the CICS and PAS5

applications are ready to accept transactions from the participants.
