Re : CICS BCP DRY RUN EXERCISE RESULT – October 23, 2021
1. We would like to thank all the participants for extending their full support and cooperation in the 2021 CICS BCP
Dry Run exercise that happened last Saturday October 23, 2021.
2. There were 65 or 73% of the total 89 participants that were able to successfully send their outward transactions, to
wit:

3. PCHC noted that of the 24 banks that were not listed above, some have participated but unfortunately
encountered processing issues which they failed to resolve until the cut-off time. PCHC shall get in touch with
these banks to determine reasons why they were unsuccessful and at the same time discuss resolutions on issues
experienced during the exercise.
4. Also, based on PCHC’s records, ten (10) of these 24 banks have not participated in any of the BCP exercises that
were priorly conducted. As report on banks’ participation in our BCP exercises is a Regulatory reportorial
requirement, we encourage these banks to participate in future BCP exercises.
5. Below is a summary of issues reported and the corresponding steps that were carried out to resolve them:
